Design and inspirations

His designs are fueled by the continuous curiosity for the applied arts in combination with his affinity for honest materials. His deep understanding of technology of materials creates pieces often based on a modular and flexible nature. The results flirt with a pinch of humor and are surrounded with an air of inventions of a past area. This connection between history and contemporary design describes the deep rooted exchange Edoardo translates in his work.Edoardo Lietti Studio has its origin in Edoardo’s home town of Florence, Italy. The city and its historical narratives were from the start a core in his exploration of shapes, proportions and craftsmanship.

In 2022 he founded his company in Copenhagen with the aim to create furniture and objects that transcend time - objects that stand between Italian classics and contemporary design. Every design should be an art piece while pragmatic and functional for everyday - furniture to carry with you through life. The designs are fuelled by the continuous curiosity for the applied arts in combination with the affinity for honest materials.
